Jazz Fusion V is a global celebration of music through our national instrument: the steelpan! With a theme of “Let's Groove Around the World”, this is a bold symphonic celebration of rhythm, soul, and steel showcasing the National Steel Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Mia Gormandy-Benjamin, with appearances by the National Performing Companies and other wonderful, surprise guest artists. Journey with the us through Brazilian Samba, Argentinian Tango, East Indian traditions, American Jazz, and much more.
